The Scientific Consultant of His Excellency the Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, Mr. Ammar Abdullah Hamad, visited GEOSURV on the 28^th of March 2019. GEOSURV visitor was received by the Director General’s Assistant and the Managers of all GEOSURV departments. The Consultant listened to the presentation about GEOSURV, its needs and the obstacles facing its working procedures. The Minister’s Consultant showed the readiness to help improving the scientific research by supporting GEOSURV and finding cooperative projects with academic institutes.

Afterwards the Scientific Consultant accompanied by the Director General’s Assistant and GEOSURV advanced cadre took a tour in GEOSURV departments where many meetings had took place with the departments managers and the technicians working in these departments.
