The Department carries out the following duties:
1- Planning for cadre preparation and supervise service acts implementation and their related regulations and instructions.
2- Carrying out employment procedures.
3- Giving counsel in the issues of civil service, retirement and discipline.
4- Preparing training courses for different specializations of GEOSURV personnel.
5-To supervise management affairs activities at GEOSURV locations.
6- To supervise all matters related to occupational safety.
The Department carries out its responsibilities through the following divisions:
1- Personnel Division.
2- Management Division.
3- Retirement Division.
4- Training Division.
5- Occupational Safety Division.
