1- Muthanna Governorate

The deposits are located at Al-Khadhari area, (40) km to the southwest of Samawah City.

Reserve  The amount of dolostone reserves is (188) million tons, category C1, and (277) million tons of reserves, category C2.

Purpose The investment of dolomitic deposits in the production of magnesia which is used in the industry of magnesia-refractory bricks used in cement kilns lining.

2- Anbar Governorate

The deposits are located at Wadi Horan, (3,5) km to the east of Rutba City.

Reserve  More than (300) million tons.

Purpose The investment of dolomitic deposits in the production of magnesia which is used in the industry of magnesia-refractory bricks used in cement kilns lining.
