Tasks of the Investment Approvals Division

  1. Ensure that all investment requests and transactions fulfill the legal conditions and requirements stipulated in the Mineral Investment Regulation Law No. 91 of 1988 as amended and instructed which is currently in force.
  2. Granting contract approvals with companies and individuals to invest quarries. As for the investment of mines the approval of the Minister must be obtained and according with the provisions of the law.
  3. Carrying out all correspondence and communications related to the investment of quarries and mines, including giving approvals, certificate of clearance and abuses and responding to inquires received to the commission from all state departments and governorate in relation to investment affairs and in manner that includes the application of the law regulating mineral investment.
  4. Keeping the correspondence in according with the unified archive system of the state departments and rotated it to in a way to ensure the process of circulation of priorities related to correspondence easily and accurately.
  5. Follow-up records and abuse affairs in the s concerned governorate until the issuance sentencing decisions against violators in accordance with the laws and controls in force and documenting them.
  6. Follow-up of the revenues generated from the mineral investment activity and work to collect it, and receive its amounts with certified cheques.
  7. Contributing side by side with the mineral data division and follow-up investment division on:

 .expressing an opinion regarding the approvals for the export of the invested mineral resources outside the country.

.Considering of investment allowances for quarrying and mining materials whenever necessary.

  1. Keeping the following records and making computer databases for all of them.

                Record contracts and vacations.

                Record of approvals.

                Revenue record.

                Record the excesses.

                Record receipt of quarries.

                Record the transfer of incoming cheques to the survey to the survey’s accounts department.
