Tasks of the Regional Offices Division

1. Representing the Iraqi Geological Survey in the Iraqi Governorate and Provinces.
2. Field following-ups of mineral investment operations.
3. Providing scientific and professional advice on all matters related to mineral wealth and its investment methods.
4. Giving support to the geological field teams affiliate to the Iraqi Geological Survey to implement its projects.

GEOSURV has a number of offices all over the country. Their duty is to follow up GEOSURV activities as surveying and fieldwork. They are:
